Activities to Boost Cognitive Development: 11-12 months

At the end of one year old the baby grows, so her interests change. It is not enough for her just to sit and play. She becomes louder. She likes to hammer and throw toys down. These games can be long and parents shouldn’t pre-vent them. The baby listens to sounds she does and develops ear in such a way as well as emotions. You should just watch your small one to be safe and not hurt herself.
Calm games at this age include bricks, sorters, stacking rings, wooden tiles, mosaics. They help the baby to understand the diversity of colors, forms and shapes, improve fine motor skills, attention and thinking.
Play with your baby, comment peculiarities of differ-ent objects. It will boost cognitive development of your small one and stimulate speech.
