Development of active speech at 8 months

Games are key to a baby`s development, and the age of eight months is no exception. At that age, games should be variegated to include those to train the child's speech apparatus.
The kid already pronounces some syllables, and his mother must keep offering him new sound combinations. Repeat them together with the baby, humming a simple tune.
Introduce the child to the voices of animals, imitate them while reading books and invite the child to repeat after you.

Show your baby his reflection in the mirror, name the different parts of his and your body. Over time, he will learn how to show them independently at your request. The learning will be fun and entertaining, if you recite short poems, jokes, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, read books before the baby’s bedtime. The passive vocabulary built in this manner will be useful for developing the baby`s speech habits in the future.
