Development of fine motor skills (8 months)

The development of the child's fine motor skills at eight months is an integral part of his general development. The palms of a baby's hands are very sensitive. They allow the baby to explore different objects, to understand the work of his fingers. To develop the baby`s fingers, he needs toys of various sizes. Their surface must also be different - soft, fluffy, rough, hard, warm or cool. It is very important to explain the features of the objects while playing a game.
Finger games are very helpful to improve fine motor skills. Take the child's hand, bend and unbend fingers, telling various jokes and nursery rhymes. It is very useful to clap, flip through books, tear papers, touch beads of various sizes, pour sand and cereals with hand. Because the child is prone to put everything into his mouth, don`t leave baby alone with any small things scattered around.
Try to make the baby use both hands. Let the baby pick up things, using both hands. In this case, the baby will develop harmoniously.
